Innovation Fund, bringing clean technologies to the market
IVACE, with the collaboration of EEN-SEIMED, REDIT, OECC and CDTI, brings forward a webinar on this interesting initiative implemented by the DG CLIMA of the EU Commission and managed by its executive agency INEA: the Innovation Fund, one of the largest funding programmes for the demonstration of innovative low-carbon technologies.
The Innovation Fund is key funding instrument to deliver on the EU climate goals under the European Green Deal and reinforce European technological leadership on a global scale.
The first call for small-scale projects will fund innovative projects up to EUR 7.5 Mill, in clean energy and industry to support the uptake of key technologies needed to reach climate neutrality and contribute to Europe’s green recovery.
We are looking for the most promising innovative projects ready for commercial deployment, based on breakthrough technologies for renewable energy, energy-intensive industries, energy storage, and carbon capture, use and storage.
The small-scale projects call opened on 1 December 2020 with a budget of EUR 100 Mill.
It is eligible for projects with a capital expenditure comprised between EUR 2.5 and 7.5 million and focuses on innovative yet mature technologies that are ready to reach the market.
